Made from recycled, worn horseshoes in their natural state so the sculpture will gradually weather over time to a rich, rusty patina texture and finish.

Each piece is made to order so no two pears are identical with each pear containing approximately 140 individual reclaimed horseshoes. 

 

The stem and leaf are made of a mild steel.

All pieces are unique and made by hand, with no moulds or formers so shapes and measurements are not exact.

The pear comes with two brackets meaning it can be mounted either vertically or to a slight angle depending on preference.

The piece will need to be anchored or mounted once on site. Fixing kits for mounting into the ground can be purchased for £35
